I have loved and lived in Portland for the past 20 years. As a Seattle native who found her way to Portland after graduating from Bates College, this special city has been so welcoming and full of amazing people and cool landmarks. I have had the privilege of growing up and starting a family in Portland as it has grown up and changed around us. We have owned and renovated several historic homes in the city each with its unique history, stories, and character!

My Maine career began in 2000 at a small PR firm in Portland after a year as a fashion assistant at Good Housekeeping magazine in NYC. Always wanting to have a design firm, in 2002 I launched a freshwater pearl jewelry business, Portia Clark Pearls and enjoyed working and designing on my own for 15 years. After decades of collecting and sourcing unique vintage pieces for the home, I began hosting a Pop-Up vintage homeware shop out of our barn in 2017 (@portiasbarn). This latest endeavor has revealed my not-so-secret passion for finding and collecting cool and unique vintage treasures and for connecting them with new people and homes where they will be enjoyed for years to come!

Helping bring new life to old homes has been a passion of mine since buying our first 1827 cape on the peninsula in 1999. Our current house (1870) and barn in Portland @portiasbarn is filled with curated vintage treasures. Making connections, from finding cool antique rugs, sharing the name of a talented carpenter or electrician, and helping to find the best house and neighborhood in greater Portland is what brings me the most joy. As a Realtor, I can’t wait to share my passion for Maine as well as a deep understanding of greater Portland’s unique neighborhoods and cool houses. I am so excited to continue to make and nurture my connections with people and help share the amazing places this city and state has to offer.
